About our speakers –
Veronica Yager is an award-winning book designer and self-publishing expert with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She is the founder of Journey Bound Publishing and a past president of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA). Veronica has helped hundreds of authors publish their books, specializing in platforms like KDP and IngramSpark, and focuses on empowering authors to achieve bestseller status. With a passion for helping authors tell their stories, Veronica brings a wealth of knowledge in book marketing, design, and the intricacies of the self-publishing landscape.
Mike Daniels, MPA, has been in the book publishing business for almost three decades working with authors and publishers of all sizes and genres worldwide while also representing major domestic and Asian book manufacturers. As The Publisher’s Coach, he provides strategic and creative guidance to publish books along with connections and insight to best reach his clients’ targeted goals. Mike’s a Past President of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (2005-06) during which time he co-founded the CIPA Education and Literacy Foundation as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization and was presented with the CIPA Leadership Award and the Ric Simmons Memorial Life Vest Award for excellence in publishing, integrity in business and service to authors. He serves as the Executive Director of CIPA ELF and is currently CIPA’s Vice President.
Cheryl K. Callighan is the CEO, Owner, and Project Manager of The Author’s Assistants, LLC, a company that has been empowering self-published authors for over 20 years. Her services encompass Amazon Optimization, keyword research, and book category analysis tailored to each author’s genre, alongside comprehensive support including book publishing, cover design, marketing, book launch management, and global distribution setup. Cheryl’s dedication to publication and promotion has made her a trusted name in the industry, helping authors achieve success on platforms like Amazon, IngramSpark, and Draft2Digital.
