Video is the most powerful marketing medium today. People turn to video for entertainment, news, connection, and communication. With all of the different platforms available, there are book-loving, reader-filled communities waiting to find you and your books via video. And the best part? You DON’T have to be on camera.
In this presentation you’ll learn:
- Video and recording best practices
- How to film with your phone and/or computer
- Types of videos, with examples, you can make easily
- Where to upload and share your videos
Caitlin Berve is the multi-award winning author of When Magic Calls: A Collection of Modern Fairy Tales and co-
creator of Magic’s Brewing: An Adult Coloring Book. Through her company, Ignited Ink Writing, she edits novels, teaches creative writing, and writes. She specializes in editing story-based writing such as most fiction genres and memoir.
Caitlin uses video platforms like TikTok and YouTube to advertise both her editing company and books. When not writing, editing, or filming videos she teaches Pop Pilates and makes color-changing potions. Caitlin seeks to fill the world with the kind of writing that lingers with readers and find magic in modern times.
