This Saturday, April 21, 2018: The Power of TV & Radio Publicity to Promote Books. The April CIPA meeting program will be focused on marketing and publicity and our panel of pros from television and radio will enlighten attendees on The Power of TV & Radio Publicity to Promote Books and why the use of the media is important as part of a publisher’s marketing plan.
Panelists will discuss how authors & publishers can pique the interest of shows’ producers to schedule them on their shows and the best ways to reach decision-makers. Attendees will learn about free and for-fee appearances and what kind of return you might see on your investment as well as how to prepare for an appearance and what to do and not do on air. In addition, authors and publishers will gain an appreciation for how and why media publicity enhances their book’s chances of being picked up by a distributor and sold in stores.
CIPA Members register here by Friday at 6pm to save $15.
