Monique de Jong Ward Writes a Captivating World War II Story Reading “Into Crosswinds”, a WWII novel, prepare to be lifted to peaks of joy or plunged into pits of despair as you follow the tumultuous lives of its characters. About half of it is based on my family’s experience and the rest is corroborated by known events. You’ll travel from France to Germany and the Ukraine. If you are a history buff you’ll enjoy the ride and may find some aspects of the war you didn’t know. If not, you’ll appreciate its countless thrills and get an education too. The suspense is guaranteed to lead you quickly to the last page.
In August 2016 it received the CIPA second prize, Silver, for Historical Fiction. Thank you so much CIPA. https://a.co/gjVWwzw
