Mary Walewski of Buy The Book Marketing is a marketing consultant and social media guide for authors. She has served on the CIPA Board of Directors as Board Secretary, Marketing Chair and Programming Chair. Mary specializes in online marketing for authors, teaching webinars and live workshops on how to market books using social media, online reviews, blogging, and more. She also coaches authors individually, teaching them the technology they need to succeed and how to promote themselves as an authority in their field. Dr. Patricia Ross is an English professor by training (Ph.D. NYU, 2004) and has owned her own company since 2001. She has done hundreds of writing workshops with business professionals throughout the front range. She has been editing professionally since 2006. In 2008, she was asked to start a publishing company and has never looked back. She has rewritten or ghostwritten over a hundred books since she started on her publishing path and has edited or coached many many more. She has published forty titles under her Hugo House label. Mike Daniels has been in the book publishing business for the last two decades working with authors & publishers of all sizes and genres while representing book manufacturers. As a publisher’s coach he provides strategic and creative direction, connections and insight to best reach the client’s targeted goals. Mike’s a Past President of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (2005-06) where he received the CIPA Leadership Award and the Ric Simmons Memorial Life Vest Award for excellence in publishing, integrity in business and service to authors and he’s the current President of the 501 c 3 CIPA Education and Literacy Foundation (ELF). In addition, Lt. Col. Mike Daniels is the Director of Public Affairs for the Colorado Civil Air Patrol-U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (selected as the U.S Civil Air Patrol’s 2014 National Public Affairs Officer of the Year) and Editor-in-Chief of Peaks & Planes magazine (received CAP’s 1st Place Balsem Award for Magazines). [email protected]

Ann is president and CEO of Bristlecone Publishing which she launched in 2013 to publish a book written and illustrated by her granddaughter when she was 12. Ann is also president and CEO of Professional Practice Development, a healthcare marketing firm she started in 1982. She has been a member of CIPA since 2011.
