Young Authors League Speakers Team Application

"To inspire, encourage, motivate and educate"

Dear CIPA Member,

Please fill out the following information if you are interested in being on the Young Authors League (YAL) Speakers Team. The YAL is a volunteer speaker program whose purpose is to enhance literacy of students attending primary and middle schools partnering with CIPA. Schoolteachers and administrators are excited about CIPA authors and speakers visiting their classes. Your presentation may be on the subject matter of your book or on any topic related to creating and publishing a book. Presentations are based on your area of expertise.

You will have a captive audience of young, eager faces and hearts that are excited to hear what you have to say. You may be planting a seed in a child that will encourage them to study, read, write and perhaps attain a dream that you have already accomplished -- writing and publishing a book!

Presentations are done on a volunteer basis. They last between 30-45 minutes. This is a wonderful opportunity for all CIPA members. Here are a few of the benefits:

  • The fun of sharing your knowledge to help others

  • Get experience speaking in front of an audience and add this to your resume

  • Share your passion of reading, writing and publishing

  • Know that you have played a part to inspire, encourage, motivate and educate a child

Yes, I am interested in being on the YAL Speakers Team
