ELF was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation pursuant to
Colorado Revised Statutes and is tax-exempt under IRC Section
501(c)(3) effective October 20, 2005.CIPA
ELF is a Public Charity pursuant to IRC Section
509(a)(3) and supports the charitable and education
activities of CIPA, including the Young Authors League (YAL),
the Book Benefit Program, Community Literacy Awareness and other
activities.
Contributions to CIPA ELF are welcome and are tax-deductible to the donor pursuant to current tax laws. CIPA ELF accepts contributions by cash, check, credit card and personal property in the form of books, school supplies, etc. To contribute school supplies, please contact us for instructions. Contributions to CIPA ELF will be acknowledged in writing.
